Subtext presents Flatlander, the first solo U.S. show by London artist Nils Jawa. Recently transplanted from London, Nils now resides in Los Angeles where he is working as an artist and designer. His signature style blends sketchy and expressive characters combined with raw typography and fluid brush strokes. Infuenced by London graffiti, Nils uses spraypaint along with other mediums to create colorful and dramatic character-driven pieces from an imaginary future.
