We’d like to send a huge thanks to the very talented Shawn Wolfe who put together a absolutely brilliant show for us! We had a steady crowd all night that came out to see the work, and we received nothing but positive feedback. Shawn made the trek down from Seattle for the opening, and was able to give our gallery goers some insight on the pieces he created for this exhibition. If you didn’t make it to the show, make an appointment here so you can check out Wolfe’s handy work in person. More photos of opening night after the jump.
About the Show: Our second show in 2010 marks Shawn Wolfe’s first solo exhibition in San Diego. Shawn Wolfe is a multi-talented artist, designer and illustrator from Seattle, Washington whose work has taken the form of paintings, sculptures, screenprints, t-shirts and everything in between. His works are self described as, “ponderous, playful, and pointless”. Pointless or not, Wolfe has been featured in Arkitip, Emigre, Metropolis, House Magazine, Print and Raygun. His list of clients include the culture-jamming group Negativland, Barsuk Records, Subterranean Press, Experience Music Project and Nike.
