Yeller at Subtext: One Night Only!
Saturday, October 10th, 7-10pm
All of us at Subtext are big fans of Yeller. Their creativity and passion for creating accessable artwork is an inspiration to the San Diego art & design community. If you’re not familiar, Yeller is an artist collective whose goal is to establish a curatorial art brand and selling platform for a community of artists focused on the continual pursuit of collaborative projects.
For their new show, the artists of Yeller will be bringing their special brand of collaborative, one-night art shows to Subtext this Saturday night. Taking cues from Halloween season and a mutual love drawing sub-human creatures, this show examines all things monster. Blending together everything from the kitschiness of Halloween culture to humanity’s fascination with the grotesque, the artists have been hard at work on an vast array of styles and mediums to bring you a unique experience with all the work priced to sell. Come check ou new monster-themed work by Jenny Bornen, Vinnie Bornen, Clarke Forrest, Lindsay Preston, Michael Tussey, and John Zappas. We hope to see you there!
